Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
Tensions flared online between Elon Musk and former U.S. President Donald Trump as the two engaged in a fiery exchange on social media. In a now-deleted post, Musk alleged that Trump’s name appeared in the unreleased Jeffrey Epstein files and suggested that this was why they had not been made public. The Tesla and SpaceX chief’s statement caused an uproar before it was taken down hours later.
Despite the public spat, a shift in tone soon followed. Responding to a suggestion from investor Bill Ackman urging both influential figures to “make peace,” Musk acknowledged the sentiment, replying, “You’re not wrong.” Meanwhile, Trump appeared to dismiss the clash, telling a reporter that “it’s going very well, never done better.”
While their differences remain unresolved, both leaders now appear to be stepping back from escalating the feud. Reports also suggest the White House is actively working to temper the president's public criticism of Musk amid broader political considerations.
